Payments to Me

I accept the following forms of payment:

• Personal Check (Vermont) – I need to receive it at least 14 days before you sign your petition;
• Personal Check (Out-of-State) – I need to receive it at least 21 days before you sign your petition;
• Bank/Cashier’s Check
• Certified Check
• Money Order
• Cash (hand-delivered)

I do not accept any of the following forms of payment:

• Credit Cards
• Debit Cards

 

Payments to the Bankruptcy Court (U.S. Bankruptcy Court, 11 Elmwood Ave, Rm 240, Burlington, VT 05401)

The Bankruptcy Court accepts the following forms of payment, payable to “U.S. Bankruptcy Court”:

• Bank/Cashier’s Check
• Certified Check
• Money Order

The Bankruptcy Court does not accept any of the following forms of payment:

• Personal Checks
• Cash
• Credit Cards
• Debit Cards
